Taormina will complete the Professional Program at School of Ballet Arizona & Pre-Professional Program at Arizona School for the Arts in 2024. Taormina began her ballet training at the age of 2 at Ohman School of Ballet where her passion for ballet was inspired by Children's Ballet Mistress, Donna Floridia, Frank Ohman, a former NYCB Soloist, Diane Moreman of Juilliard and The Limon Company, Danniel Lichtenberger and faculty. Taormina performed lead children's roles over seven seasons including "Clara" in Ohman's The Nutcracker, staged in the tradition of Lincoln Center. Upon Ballet Master, Frank Ohman's, passing in 2019, Taormina was offered the opportunity to join Arizona School for the Arts & study at School of Ballet Arizona. Taormina has performed corp roles in dozens of productions including Raymonda, performed pas de deux, and participated in summer intensives at Milwaukee, Boston, Ballet West, & ABT. She's currently choreographing four dancers to live musical accompaniment.
