Auditions Weekend of August 22nd

Dallas Ballet Center has an audition for the Dallas Ballet Company on 8/24.

- Dallas Ballet Company is a pre-professional ballet company with four levels for dancers in middle and high school

- Dancers must be currently enrolled at Dallas Ballet Center in ballet level ll-C or higher

- Dancers must register for audition by 10pm on Friday, August 22nd

- Registration begins 30 minutes prior to audition

- Audition times:

          - Ballet II-C/ III - 1:00-2:45pm

          - Ballet IV/V/VI - 3:00pm - 5:45pm

- Attire:

          - Girls - black leotard, pink tights pink ballet shoes and pointe shoes, hair in bun

          - Boys - White t-shirt, black tights, white or black shoes/ socks

Rochester City Ballet has an audition for student dancers for their production of The Nutcracker on 8/24.

- Registration is now open Nutcracker auditions

- Free auditions are held for dancers ages 5-18

- Roles are available for all experience levels

- Scholarships available

- Audition will be held at Rochester City Ballet Studios

          - Ages 9-12: Registration 9:45am, Audition 10:00am

          - Ages 7-8: Registration 11:00am, Audition 11:15am

          - Ages 5-6: Registration 11:45am, Audition 12:00pm

          - Ages 13-18: Registration 12:30pm, Audition 1:30-4:30pm

Maryland Youth Ballet has an audition for their Pre-Professional Division, Children’s Division and Youth Division on 8/25.

- Students 8 years and older with previous ballet experience (taking at least 2x per week, must first request on audition

- Prospective students can submit a request to audition in-person in a dance class or attend a group audition (when available)

Texas Ballet Theater is accepting video auditions for a male trainee for the 2025-2026 Season.

- Trainee Details:

          - 35-week contract (August-May)

          - Weekly stipend

          - Chance to dance alongside company dancers in all four of the season’s professional productions

Boston Ballet is accepting video submissions for their Professional Division at Walnut Hill on a rolling basis.

- All dancers seeking admission to the program must first complete a pre-audition dance video 

- After submitting, select students will be notified about moving forward by participating in a live audition.

- All audition videos should not exceed 15 minutes in length, and should not be filmed farther than 20 feet away

- Women should wear a black leotard and tights in the color closest to their natural skin tone or in which they feel most comfortable

          - Women will need both soft and pointe shoes

- Men should wear black tights and a white shirt
