- Brooklyn Ballet’s Next Step Summer Intensive is a fun, challenging, and inspiring dance intensive for intermediate to advanced pre-professional students ages 10-17.
- During the 5-day intensive, students enjoy classes led by Brooklyn Ballet’s esteemed Faculty and guest teaching artists in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Daily classes include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, contemporary, jazz, and Hip Hop.
- Each week culminates with an in-studio student showcase.
- Dates:
- Level II (ages 10-12, intermediate): August 4-8 | 9:30-4pm
- Level III/IV (ages 13-17, advanced intermediate/advanced)
- Week 1: August 11-15 | 9:30am-4pm
- Week 2: August 18-22 | 9:30am-4pm
- Level III/IV students are welcome to join for one or two weeks.
- Placement Audition:
- A placement audition is required for Level II (ages 10-12) & Level III/IV (ages 13-17) students prior to registering.

- Eligibility:
- To apply to the Professional Graduate Programme, dancers must be aged between 18-20 on 1 September 2025 and have completed classical vocational training.
- Applicants must also have completed their GCSEs (or equivalent) before the course start date.
- Students on the Graduate Programme do not qualify for a study visa and therefore international applications can only be accepted from students who can obtain their own visa to enter the UK.
- Please note that this course is not accessible under a 6 month UK visitor visa.

- Three recent full-length classical dance photos of passé relevé barefoot on both sides and arabesque

- Centre work both sides - battement tendu and battement jeté combination, fondu and ronds de jambe, grand battement, adage, pirouettes, battu jump, and grand allegro
