Performact has an audition for their 2-Year Intensive Course for Contemporary Dance Performers on 5/3.

Brussels City Ballet is seeking Company Dancers and Trainees for the 2025-2026 Season on 5/4.

- Open Audition for Company and Trainee

- Location: BCB company studio, Rue de la Fourche 49,1000 Brussels, Belgium

- Trainee audition at 9:30am (registration from 8:30am)

          - Class - 9:30-11:00am (cuts after the class)

          - Variation - 11:30am

- Company/freelance audition at 12:00pm (registration from 11:00am)

          - Class - 12:15-1:45pm (cuts after the class)

          - Variation - 2:00pm

- Pre-selection after class:

          - 2nd round - classical variation, (girls on pointe) after the class

                    - Music: prepare on your phone (bluetooth speaker and/or mp3 cable provided)

          - 3rd round - contemporary workshop from 3:00pm start

                    - All selected candidates who stayed for classical variation

- Final selection-interview after the workshop

- Day is expected to end by 5:00pm (latest 6:00pm)

- Audition is by invitation only

Bayou City Ballet School has an audition for their 2025 Summer Intensive and Classical Mastery Workshop on 5/4.

- Classical Mastery Workshop details:

                    - Ballet Technique, Pointe, Contemporary, Variations and Coaching

          - Classical Mastery Workshop  is two weeks of study, specifically designed toward helping students master classical style and technique with emphasis on coaching common competition variations. 

          - Students will work with Nao Kusuzaki, Allison Miller, and Alex Pandiscio for Ballet, Pointe, and Variations class, and Lindsay Cortner for Contemporary class.

Brooklyn Ballet has an audition for their 2025 Next Step Summer Intensive on 5/4.

- Brooklyn Ballet’s Next Step Summer Intensive is a fun, challenging, and inspiring dance intensive for intermediate to advanced pre-professional students ages 10-17. 

- During the 5-day intensive, students enjoy classes led by Brooklyn Ballet’s esteemed Faculty and guest teaching artists in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment. 

- Daily classes include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, contemporary, jazz, and Hip Hop. 

- Each week culminates with an in-studio student showcase. 

- Dates:

          - Level II (ages 10-12, intermediate): August 4-8 | 9:30-4pm

          - Level III/IV (ages 13-17, advanced intermediate/advanced)

          - Week 1: August 11-15 | 9:30am-4pm

          - Week 2: August 18-22 | 9:30am-4pm

          - Level III/IV students are welcome to join for one or two weeks.

- Placement Audition:

          - A placement audition is required for Level II (ages 10-12) & Level III/IV (ages 13-17) students prior to registering.

- Tuition:

          - 1 Week: $735 (Level II & Level III/IV)

          - 2 Weeks: $1340 (Level III/IV only)

Northern Ballet is accepting applications for their Professional Graduate Programme until 5/6.

- Eligibility:

          - To apply to the Professional Graduate Programme, dancers must be aged between 18-20 on 1 September 2025 and have completed classical vocational training. 

          - Applicants must also have completed their GCSEs (or equivalent) before the course start date.  

          - Students on the Graduate Programme do not qualify for a study visa and therefore international applications can only be accepted from students who can obtain their own visa to enter the UK.

                    - Please note that this course is not accessible under a 6 month UK visitor visa. 

- How to apply:

          - Completed applications are to be emailed to [email protected].

- Applicants must submit:

          - Three recent full-length classical dance photos of passé relevé barefoot on both sides and arabesque

          - Video link (YouTube/Vimeo) showing barre and centre class work in leotard/tights (ladies on pointe). No costumes please. Your video should include:

                    - Barre work - pliés and rises

                    - Centre work both sides - battement tendu and battement jeté combination, fondu and ronds de jambe, grand battement, adage, pirouettes, battu jump, and grand allegro

          - CV

          - Complete the medical declaration on the webpage. Please note that the information provided in this declaration will help us to provide suitable staffing for any auditions offered.

          - The deadline to submit is 6 May 2025.

- Auditions:

          - If your application is accepted, you may be invited for a closed audition. Auditions run April to May 2025.
