Auditions Weekend of October 10th

Wichita State University has an audition for admittance into the Dance Department on 10/10.

- Prior to auditioning/ interviewing:

          - Apply to Wichita State University

          - Complete the FAFSA

          - Fill out School of Performing ARts acceptance/scholarship form (includes bio, headshot, resume and essay

          - Attend Major for a Day

- Audition is held on Major for a Day

- $20 registration fee (includes one student lunch)

- Day Includes:

          - Informational session

          - Meet faculty, staff and professionals in the School of Performing Arts, Advising and Financial Aid

          - Lunch

          - Attend class

          - A chance to interview and audition 

          - Campus tour

          - Comp ticket to one School of Performing Arts production

- Audition will take place 2:30-5:00pm

Kennesaw State University (KSU) has an audition for admittance into the Dance Department on 10/10.

- Audition time - 2:00pm

- Applicants need to apply to Kennesaw State University and fill out the Dance Major Audition Application

- Audition will consist of 45 minute ballet barre followed by a modern combination.

- All students and parents/caregivers are invited to join the dance faculty and current KSU students for a Q&A session directly following the audition.

- Students will be notified about acceptance into the program within a week following the audition.

- Audition attire:

          - Solid black dance attire

          - Please wear flat ballet shoes during ballet portion of audition

          - Neat hair and no jewelry

Towson University has an audition for admittance into the Dance Department on 10/11.

- Audition process begins at 9:00am and will end approximately at 1:00pm

- Check-in begins at 8:45am

- More audition information will be received when students have completely registered by:

          - Submitting the online registration application

          - Paying the audition fee using the link provided

          - Emailing a headshot, preferably in jpeg format to [email protected] in order to complete the registration process

          - Please register by October 9th

- Audition will consist of:

          - Ballet portion starting at 9:30am

          - Modern portion

- Letter will be mailed to students two weeks following audition

          - Please remember that prospective students must also successfully apply to the University to become a dance major

Joshua Monten Dance Company has an audition for Dancers for the Creation of a New Production on 10/12.

- Looking for dancers for the creation of the new dance production “YES/NO.” 

- Rehearsals and performances will take place mainly in Bern, Switzerland from January to May 2026.

- Looking for two professional contemporary dancers (M/F/X) who are inventive, theatrically gifted, have a strong sense of musicality and at least two years of full-time professional experience.

          - Additionally, looking for students in their last year of study and recent graduates who would like to complete an internship with our company.

          - Candidates of all ethnic backgrounds and genders are expressly welcome to apply.

- Selected candidates will be invited to a one-day audition in Basel, Switzerland on 12 October 2025.

- Applications are only accepted via online application via link for professional dancers or link for apprentices.

- Materials can be submitted in English, German or French.

- Please mention if there are any periods when you would not be able to join the rehearsals/performances.

- The deadline for submission is 14 September 2025.

Les Ballets Trockadero is seeking Company Dancers for the 25/26 Season on a rolling basis.

- Applicants should have:

Strong ballet technique

          - Sense of humor

          - Interest/ experience in pointe work

          - Legal permission to work in US or be able to obtain a work visa
