Ana Smith began her training at Texas Ballet Theater School where she studied for 14 years. She was invited to join TBT's Studio Training Company her senior year of High School. During her years at TBT, she had the opportunities to perform in Ben Stevensons's "The Nutcracker", Carl Coomer's "Henry VIII", excerpts from Ben Stevenson's "Sleeping Beauty" and "Swan Lake". She also was invited to perform as a guest in Dance Theater Of Harlem's "Gloria'', and was a featured dancer in the Opera "The Bartered Bride'' at University of North Texas. Ana has attended numerous summer programs such as Houston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Ballet Austin and Orlando Ballet, all on scholarship. She is completing her first year as a trainee with Orlando Ballet. While a trainee, she has enjoyed dancing in the Young Peoples Concert Series with Orlando Philharmonic and being a part of the World Premiere of Jorden Morris's "The Nutcracker" and Christopher Stowell's "Sleeping Beauty."
