Session Description

The Scholarship Program core curriculum consists of daily classes in ballet (which may include additional classes in pointe for intermediate/advanced students) along with Horton and/or Graham techniques. Supplemental classes include jazz, tap, Dunham, West African, barre à terre, yoga, Gyrokinesis®, and body conditioning. Improvisation and dance composition classes are also offered. Scholarship students also have the opportunity to audition for repertory workshops with guest artists that showcase the talents of the most advanced students. Workshops culminate with in-studio showings and performances at the Ailey Citigroup Theater at the end of each term.
