Video Requirements:
Video auditions for the 2026-2027 season are accepted on a rolling basis. We will continue to accept video auditions until all positions for the 2026-2027 season have been filled. Applicants who submit an audition may also be considered for any available positions in the 2025-2026 season.
To be considered for ABT Studio Company, auditioning dancers should ideally be between the ages of 17 and 20 at the time of audition and must have reached an advanced level of ballet training.
Following the review of video audition materials, selected dancers may be invited to take class with ABT Studio Company in New York City. If the Artistic Staff would like to see more from you or invite you to audition in person, you will be contacted directly via the email address you supply with your submission. Please note that submitting a video audition does not guarantee an invitation for an in-person audition. Space in ABT Studio Company is extremely limited.
Videos must be approximately 15 minutes or less in length. Videos must be filmed horizontally.
Videos must have been filmed within the last 6 months. Do not film into the mirror.
The entire dancer should be visible throughout the video (no close-ups). Please wear simple, traditional dancewear (no skirts, warmups, baggy clothing, etc.)
Please film with sound— music should not be edited in afterwards.
