Video Requirements:

PROGRAM AGE REQUIREMENTS This program is for ages 13-17. Must be 13 by July 12, 2026, to apply for this program. PROGRAM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Due to the rigor of this program, applicants should meet BOTH requirements: Currently enrolled in 8+ hours of training per week. At least three consecutive years of prior dance training with a strong technical foundation. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Fill out an online application form and submit a $75 nonrefundable application fee (not credited toward tuition). Application requires: Live Audition or Video Audition Upload Personal Statement video upload Instructor Assessment Form ADF will review your application for the program and send you a notification of acceptance via email. After being accepted into the program, submit scholarship materials by April 10th, 2026 to be considered for financial assistance. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS All students are required to complete an audition for acceptance into the program. Applicants must attend a live audition or upload a video audition within their application. All applicants must submit a personal statement via video, regardless of attending a live audition or submitting a video for the dance portion. Video applicants should not submit an audition video that features other dancers. DANCE AUDITION VIDEO REQUIREMENTS For students submitting a video dance audition: Technique video should be no more than 3 minutes total, including up to 1.5 minutes of modern or contemporary technique AND up to 1.5 minutes of any other dance technique or style you do regularly. Creative work video should be up to 1 minute of improvisation or performing a self-choreographed solo. Notes on technique videos: Do not repeat exercises multiple times. Remember that each technique has different physical/artistic values and skills when demonstrating each of your selected dance techniques. Your dancing should reflect the technique's depth, complexity, and range. We encourage you to perform class exercises/movements that: Feature your ability to move with musicality or rhythmic sensitivity Show the physical coordination necessary for the technique Involve moving in place and through space PERSONAL STATEMENT VIDEO REQUIREMENTS All students must submit a personal statement via video, regardless of attending a live audition or submitting a video for the dance portion. APPLICATION PROCESS Fill out an online application form, including completing a video or live audition, and submit the $75 non-refundable application fee. ADF will review your application and audition for the program and send you a notification of acceptance via email. Your instructor assessment must be submitted before your application can be reviewed. Once accepted into the program, you will move to the SCHOLARSHIP PHASE, where you can apply for all scholarship opportunities available at ADF! All materials must be submitted by the scholarship deadline of April 10, 2026. Applications must be processed by April 8, 2026 to be considered for financial assistance. Your application has been processed when you receive an ADF # and acceptance message in your message portal. After submitting your scholarship application, you will be moved into the FEES & DEPOSIT PHASE. In this phase, you will review the refund policy and pay the $300 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and applied to your tuition balance. The deposit confirms your spot in the program. If you receive a scholarship, you must pay your deposit when you accept your scholarship. The next phase is HOUSING. Participants will select whether they need on-campus housing in this phase. All on-campus housing must be paid by March 13th to secure your room. If the participant doesn’t need on-campus housing, they will move to the TUITION PHASE. Students will remain in the HOUSING PHASE until their balance is paid. Next, you will be moved into the TUITION PHASE. In this phase, you will begin making tuition payments. Payments can be made in one lump sum or incrementally. Students will be able to see their balance (minus the deposit and any scholarships). If you do not see your scholarship reflected in your balance, please email the ADF School before making payments. Students will remain in the TUITION PHASE until their balance is paid. The next phase is FORMS & PAYMENTS. In this phase, you will submit all required forms and pay any optional fees like the student health fee or the ADF season tee. All participants are required to complete a physical and submit medical forms in this phase. 8. The final phase is REGISTRATION COMPLETE. When all paperwork and payments have been submitted, you will receive a registration complete message from Acceptd. Your application is not complete until you receive this message.
