Session Description

Ballet Conservatory’s Summer Intensive draws students from around the United States and beyond to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, for 4-weeks of elevated training with world-class faculty; guests and our own team. BCA’s 2026 Summer guest faculty includes SAB/Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Matthew Powell, Ballet Tucson’s Hunter Solomon and KC Ballet’s Matthew Donnell. Recent summer guest- faculty include NYC Ballet’s Daniel Ulbricht, Paris Opera Ballet’s Karin Averty, Nashville Ballet’s Molly Sansone, Broadway/Milwaukee Ballet/Jacob’s Pillow’s Nick Kepley, ABT/Twyla Tharpe/Broadway’s John Selya, plus NYC Ballet’s Amanda Edge, and Indiana University/Eglevsky Ballet’s Michael Vernon. Advanced, Intermediate & Beginner four-week course. Rigorous training & small class sizes, for dedicated ballet students. Daily classes include: Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, Boys Class, Modern, Jazz, Pilates, Yoga. Housing & scholarships available. Excursions in the beautiful Asheville area. Our summer showcase offers valuable performance and rehearsal experience.
