To meet the physical demands of academic dance training during the physical development phase, training at a young age is particularly important for establishing a solid foundation. At the Munich Ballet Academy, dance training can begin at age eight. Gentle training is always a priority to prevent poor posture and injuries. The intensity and scope of the training depend on the age and ability of the students. The junior student classes are divided into the following age groups: Pre-stage 8 – 9 years Elementary level 10 – 12 years Intermediate level 13 – 15 years The curriculum is based on the established Russian Vaganova curriculum. Holidays and public holidays are based on the Bavarian school holiday calendar. We reserve the right to make changes. Enrollment is subject to passing the aptitude test for children, which is offered twice a year.
