Columbus State University Youth Dance Conservatory

The CSU Youth Dance Conservatory’s mission is to prepare young students for futures as dancers, engaged citizens, audience members, and responsible young people. We offer a year-around program taught by a dedicated staff of instructors who take great care to instruct students with proper technique and great discipline in an encouraging and nurturing environment. Our curriculum, rooted in the classical ballet tradition, offers students an opportunity to develop their technique, artistry, endurance, discipline, choreographic memory, and stage presence. CSU Youth Dance Conservatory dancers have the opportunity to perform with The Columbus Ballet at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts and participate in an End of the Year Performance with the Conservatory in the month of May.
