Next – The international postgraduate program in Italy Next is a DAF project that redefines the standards of the artist's educational and training process and redesigns the structure of a postgraduate program, offering a particularly advanced curriculum. This program offers the opportunity to deepen choreographic techniques and languages through the creation, each season, of six original works—six premieres created exclusively for dancers admitted to Next—and progressively performed as part of the "DAF Performance Series." This program redefines an artist's commitment, concentration, and willpower, a journey toward a progressive expansion of being and experiencing the stage. Dancers in the Next program will become an integral part of the construction of a vast choreographic repertoire, contributing concretely to the development of the dynamics necessary for the conception and subsequent realization of a choreographic work. This exclusive program creates the organic structure for the construction and staging of a creation. Alongside the creation of the choreographic repertoire, a regular daily study plan for classical and contemporary technique is outlined. A concrete opportunity for real growth and the achievement of a different awareness. Next offers a program designed to concretely interpret the needs of the current dance system, where the international market increasingly demands performers and artists capable of communicating true mastery of their physical, emotional, and mental instruments.
