Description
A special feature of our training programme is that our students receive daily lessons in all three areas - contemporary, jazz and ballet. Other subjects include hip-hop and acrobatics as well as musical jazz, improvisation and partnering in special workshops. Theoretical subjects include anatomy and dance history. The variety of subjects taught is a speciality of the Academy. Another speciality is that the students in the pedagogy branch are expected to meet almost the same dance requirements as those in the stage dance branch. In our opinion, every dance teacher should be able to clearly distinguish themselves technically and qualitatively from their students and - at least at a young age - be able to master and demonstrate all dance elements up to advanced level. Another important part of the pedagogical branch is regular observation and teaching rehearsals in DanceEmotion's hobby courses or in organisations with which we cooperate. There is also the opportunity to study stage dance and dance pedagogy.
