Description

ACADEMIC CURRICULUM Academic and artistic class schedules vary by grade level. Grade 6: English, Ancient World History, Science, and Math. Grade 7: English, World History (a continuation of where sixth grade World History left off followed by the fall of Rome, the rise of Europe and the Enlightenment Period), Science, and Math. Grade 8: English, U.S. History (U.S. colonial life, the U. S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the American Civil War, and the Reconstruction Period), Math, Foreign Language and Health & Safety. Field Trip excursions, special events and performances occur throughout the year. Students will have a 30-minute lunch break. The curriculum is based upon the California State Standards for Education. DANCE CURRICULUM Dance classes will be held from 1:00-3:45pm, Mon-Thur, Fri. 1:00-4:10pm.
