COMPANY MISSION STATEMENT Westside Dance Project is a dance program & performance training company that aims to cultivate versatile, curious, and audacious young movement artists. The company grounds its movement education practices in values of respect, compassion, collaboration, sustainability, and trust to promote an expansive learning environment supporting both the individual and the collective. CURRICULUM Westside’s curriculum is designed to expose the WDP company dancers to age-appropriate training in concert and commercial dance environments. Our contemporary training program works in conjunction with the ballet-focused curriculum at Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy. We believe this to be a sound foundation of training for young dance artists to prepare for engaging with the current dance industry. ​ AUDITIONS Auditions are held annually for admittance into the company. Auditions for the 2024-2025 Season will be held on July 20 & August 3, 2025. Please refer to the Events page for registration for one or both Audition Workshops. 2024-25 SEASON DATES: August 27, 2024 - June 2, 2024 WDP TRAINING INCLUDES: Weekly Program Rehearsal/Training: Tuesdays 6-9pm Weekly contemporary class training Mandatory enrollment in DKCBA Ballet Academy Weekly private training with WDP faculty
