STAGE acts as a connection between dance education and professional dance life and provides the necessary skills, methods and stage experience as building blocks for a strong, healthy and successful career. GOALS personal improvement of technical and artistic skills Gain experience on international stages gaining confidence in own artistic presentation expanding knowledge in the variety of choreographic styles enhancing the health awareness (nutrition, stress management, injury prevention, etc.) coaching for the final exam as a "Professional Ballet Dancer", state-recognized diploma - 2 years required Variety of interpretations of skills in classical, neoclassical, modern and contemporary dance advice on career opportunities (optional)

Session Description

Curriculum : extensive training program, daily Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday by announcement Ballet training, pointe technique (for girls), jumps & turns (for boys) & classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance repertoire Working with invited choreographers Workshops and masterclasses with world-renowned trainers Support for your own compositions/choreographies Opportunities to perform in Austria and internationally An appropriate internship with stage experience is the essential part of the Stage Education Program. The Europaballett is currently actively involved in around 150 performances per season. Participants of the Stage Education Program have the opportunity to participate in these performances. ‍ -) Up to 30 performances at the Theatre of the Ballet in St. Pölten -) International guest performances in Europe and America -) Co-productions with other theatres nationally and internationally -) Opera performances at the Vienna State Opera -) Ball openings throughout Austria -) Age: 16-22 years -) Minimum training period: 2 years -) The final exam is the parity stage entrance exam and the diploma of the European Ballet -) Prerequisite for the diploma of the European Ballet: Annual examination with positive success up to the parity stage entrance examination -) The entrance qualification is awarded for one year at a time and can be extended after an examination with positive success. The degree is the Paritätische Bühnenreifeprüfung and the diploma of the Europaballet. Prerequisite for the Diploma of the Europaballet: Annual examination with positive results up to the Paritätische Bühnenreifeprüfung
