Gainesville Ballet Company

The school's primary focus is classical ballet including beginning ballet and creative movement. We also offer tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Students who desire a more rapid progression may enroll in an intensive course of study that will develop the skills, experience, and discipline required to pursue opportunities with the Gainesville Ballet Company, college scholarships, and professional careers. The school’s students have become professional dancers, instructors, choreographers, arts administrators, and studio owners. Some have joined the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, the Feld Ballet, The Atlanta Ballet, and many regional companies throughout the Southeast. While most of the school’s students will not become, nor choose to be professional dancers; they will learn the art form properly, in a healthy, loving atmosphere -- and have fun doing it!
