10:30 a.m. Group 1 Audition: Saturday, May 17, 11am – 4pm: Seeking male and female classically trained ballet dancers with great technique and partnering abilities. This group includes casting for the “Will-o’-the-wisp” solo bit role, for a female dancer on pointe.

Audition Description

Houston Grand Opera is seeking performing and cover dancers for its 2025-26 production of Hansel and Gretel directed by Antony McDonald. The choreographer, Lucy Burge, is seeking dancers with the following skills. Dancers of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
