Interlochen Center for the Arts

The Academy Dance Division offers pre-professional and conservatory-based dance training. Academy dance students are taught to be proficient, confident and open-minded individuals who graduate the program prepared for the inevitable challenges of professional careers and higher education in dance.

Offering year-round training through our boarding arts high school, intensives, 2-6 week summer programs, and online private lessons for students in 3-12 grade.

In addition to our internationally renowned dance instructors, we offer special support services for the unique demands that are placed on young dancers. You'll have access to specialists in nutritional counseling, dance medicine, and other related arts fields that will help you thrive in a way that best fits your needs.

Our 26,000 square-foot dance facility provides our students and faculty with renovated studios, updated technology, fitness centers, and beautiful lakeside views.

Alumni have gone on to dance for the Nashville Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Latvian National Opera and Ballet, Martha Graham, and more top colleges and conservatories.
