ISH Dance Collective is looking for versatile dancers for a new large-scale co-production with Dutch National Opera and Jakop Ahlbom. Would you like to participate in innovative musical theater that combines dance, imagination, and live music? Apply using the form below! WE ARE LOOKING FOR TALENTED DANCERS WHO: Have a strong foundation in hiphop styles (such as hiphop, breaking, popping, locking, clubbing, etc.), with comfort in physical/theatrical forms of expression, partnering, and improvisation. Have an affinity for theater, dance, and other performing arts. Are collaborative and see collaboration as an essential part of the creative process. Are able to work independently and have a strong sense of personal responsibility. Be creative and have artistic skills in dance, theater, music, improvisation/composition. Be available during the rehearsal and tour periods: August 3, 2026 - October 23, 2026 (rehearsals, assembly & performance days) (See the FAQ for more information). AUDITION — FORMAT Audition date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 Location: Het Talentenhuis, Meer en Vaart 290 - 1068LE Amsterdam Rounds: one day with: Group assignment (combination of set material & short composition assignment) Prepare a solo of no more than 2 minutes with your own choice of music. Choose a track that enhances your style and allows you to excel in your full range of movement and individuality. A first selection of dancers may be made after the group assignment. REGISTRATION & TIMELINE Audition day: Saturday, December 6, 2025 Registration deadline: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 (form at the bottom of this page). Pre-selection results/invitation: Saturday, November 29, 2025. Announcement of selection after audition: Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
