New and innovative programs address the needs of today’s dancers and connect them to an extensive roster of renowned choreographers, artistic directors, instructors, and dance leaders. The School’s Alumni are an influential international network shaping, defining, and leading the field today. At the Pillow, dancers live and work as artists. A studio day features new work development rehearsals and in-depth coaching and mentoring. Interactions with Festival Artists include Master Classes led by artistic directors, career-building discussions with performers, research time in the Jacob’s Pillow Archives, meeting supporters, and attending performances, scholar-and artist-led talks, Cast Parties, special events, and much more.
