Video Requirements:
In order to ensure that we can accurately evaluate technical proficiency and personal potential, you will be asked to learn BOTH a condensed class in ballet technique and contemporary combinations through video links: Ballet Technique Combination Contemporary Combination You will then record your performance of both the ballet and contemporary material, upload it as a single file to YouTube or Vimeo and include in your Dance Major Audition Application via Slideroom. You also have the option to upload the media directly in the Slideroom platform. Students will receive their auditions results within 2-3 weeks after submitting a video audition.Audition Description
****This is the application to begin your studies in the Spring 2026 semester. If you intend to begin your studies in the Fall 2026 semester, please select the Fall 2026 application. The deadline to submit your application for Spring 2026 is December 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. We invite you to audition with us! We hold both in-person auditions and accept video audition submissions on a rolling basis. Our in-person auditions are directly followed by an info session and Q&A with our faculty and staff. Important: If you are not currently a student at Kennesaw State University, you must begin your application for university admission before you apply to the Department of Dance. It is not essential that you be fully admitted to the University at the time of the audition, however, you will need your KSU ID number and Net ID generated by the university admission application to complete the dance audition registration form below.
