The Leipzig Ballet, under the artistic direction of Rémy Fichet, is seeking dancers for its Junior Programme for the 2026/27 season. A high level in both classical (with point work) and contemporary technique is required. The audition will take place on Sunday, February 15th 2026 at 11 a.m. (Check-in from 09:30 a.m.). You will be notified about the invitation via e-mail. * a video-link (maximum file size 20 MB) with no introduction or creative editing in close-fitting dance wear: * 3–5 minutes barre * 3–5 minutes center * 1-2 minutes short classical variation drawn from the standard repertoire, danced in pointe shoes (f, d) or soft shoes (m, d) * 1-2 minutes contemporary variation (that could consist of something drawn from repertoire, phrases from classwork or an applicant-created work) that illustrates the applicant’s command of a range of movement different from that demonstrated in the classical variation * CV * head shot photo * 2-3 dance photos in close-fitting dance wear Eligibility for the Junior Programme is limited to dancers who are currently in their final year of dance studies or have recently graduated and who have not previously held a contract with a professional ballet company, including any junior or trainee programmes.
