The Training Programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance and are available for dancers aged 18+. The program is 6 months, but can be taken as two separate, individual modules. Classes take place in various studios: sometimes in Harlem where the Company rehearses, and sometimes in Queens or other Manhattan venues. The program is an immersive, intensive-style, half-day program from September - December, and /or February - May, approximately from 9am - 1pm Monday - Friday. Additional industry-related opportunities occur throughout the program, after the dance-day. Dancers enjoy the rigors of the program, and also the opportunity to explore NYC, take other classes and experience all that New York has to offer artists. And if you're a New Yorker, the program provides the professional development you crave, in a condensed schedule, so you can head out to rehearsal or a gig later that day or night.
