Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) consists of two companies with two generations of dancers. Young, talented dancers at the beginning of their dance career dance at NDT 2 (dancers between 17 and 23 years old) and dancers in full bloom at NDT 1 (dancers aged 24 years and older). Both companies give performances both at home and abroad. The home base is, as of October 2021, Amare in The Hague. NDT is one of the world’s leading modern dance companies. Our company has been working with world-renowned (guest) choreographers and the world’s best dancers for 60 years, so that we continue to attract top international talent every year. About 70 employees work behind the scenes to perfect the performances, dance experience and all preconditions, from medical assistance, to lighting and sound design to educational activities. Together we work on innovative, groundbreaking dance performances and offer our visitors an unforgettable evening.
