The Norwegian national company of contemporary dance, Carte Blanche, is looking for dancers with a high level of contemporary dance techniques and performance skills for positions starting in August 2026. We are looking for dancers with a strong practice in contemporary dance and improvisation, as well as an interest in multi-disciplinary and collaborative approaches to working. We appreciate individuality, strong performance skills, and artistic integrity, while also valuing those who thrive in a collective setting and are highly aware of group dynamics. Additionally, be prepared for voice as an element of the artistic work —while advanced singing skills are not required, openness and readiness are essential. We value diversity in terms of artistic interest, social and cultural background, gender expression, and dis/abilities. The working language is English. We are looking for: Experienced dancers with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in creative and dynamic processes, post-education. Two Apprentices (Born in 2002 or later) with relevant experience in creative and dynamic processes within contemporary dance. Apprentice contracts are one-year paid contracts for dancers born in 2002 or later, and this is a criteria for being considered for this position.
