Video Requirements:

Video Application Materials Please be prepared to upload the following application materials: – résumé – headshot photo – full body dance photo – video links (Vimeo preferred) Video footage should be of clear viewing quality and shot as recent as possible prior to submission. Videos should not exceed 7 minutes in length total (including all 4 links). Required links: Introduction Link - Please video yourself answering the following questions: What is your full name? What is your current age? Where are you from? Why are you interested in auditioning for NW Dance Project's Summer Dance Platform? Ballet Link – Each combination should be a minimum of 32 counts and demonstrated on the dancer's right and left side. Ballet Barre: - Tendu - Rond de Jambe + Fondu - Grand Battement Center Floor Work - Adagio - Pirouettes - Petit Allegro - Grand Allegro Contemporary Link – 1.5-2 minutes of contemporary choreography Improvisation Link – 1-minute improvised solo

Audition Description

There are two ways to apply / audition for Summer Dance Platform. – Attend a LIVE audition – Submit a VIDEO Application Pre-registration is required for all scheduled auditions and will close 24 hours prior to audition date. Priority acceptance is given to those dancers attending a LIVE audition. APPLICATION DEADLINE - MAR 13 / 2026 Our preference is for dancers to attend a LIVE audition. However, if you are unable to do so, you can submit a VIDEO application for consideration. IMPORTANT REMINDERS Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Video links can be Vimeo or YouTube. Vimeo is preferred. We recommend applying early as we have limited capacity and are prioritizing applicants on a rolling basis.
