The online audition is an accommodation for those who are unable to join us in-person. We strongly encourage you to audition in-person. Online auditions: The online audition will consist of movement phrases taught and prompted by faculty via an online instruction video. Then you will record yourself doing the movement phrases and creative prompt in your home with a personal device and upload your video to the audition portal. After you submit the audition application, you will receive further details and instructions via email. *Timeline: January 7, 2026 at 5:30-6:30pm (EST): online information session, student panel, and facility tour January 15: last day to submit university admission application AND supporting materials for regular admission. While it is not required, we strongly recommend that Dance applicants submit a letter of recommendation from a core academic subject high school teacher or counselor that will specifically address any insights into your academic context (not dance). January 16, 2026 - last day to submit dance audition application in order to have time to prepare/film and submit videos by January 23 (instructions sent after audition application submitted) January 23, 2026 - last day to submit audition videos for online auditions (instructions sent after audition application submitted) February 15: Ohio State priority deadline to submit FAFSA and ScholarshipUniverse applications February 20, 2026 - Audition results will be emailed on or before this dateUpdated: Aug. 25, 2025
