Description

PCDC seeks to fulfill Company Dancer contracts as well as additional Trainee contracts. Both Company Dancer and Trainee contracts will be from late August, 2025 through August, 2026. Both Company Dancers and Trainees rehearse approximately 10-20 hours/week. Company Dancers are paid $20/hour for rehearsals and both dancers and trainees receive a $50-100 stipend per performance depending on scale of the event. Both Company Members and Trainees receive additional pay for workshops and outreach events, have access to free space at Peridance when available, as well as receive free daily ballet classes and other discounted classes. When The Company tours, both Company Members and Trainees receive per diem. The Company is not a union company. Peridance seeks to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees, and welcomes dancers of all backgrounds to audition for the Company. Dancers are requested to have strong contemporary dance technique and improvisational skills, along with versatility, musicality, and stage presence. Experience with contemporary partnering is also a plus. Dancers must be based in NYC at the start of employment.
