Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy’s Youth Primary Program offers our youngest students an introduction to movement and dance. This program is designed to help foster a love for the art form and to nurture creativity in a supportive and safe environment. It offers a fun, guided way for children aged 3-7 to explore dance through classes that that encourage an exploration of movement in a safe and non-competitive environment. Our trained staff introduce children to basic dance steps while developing motor skills, strength, balance and flexibility. We also work on social skills such as taking turns and following directions, as well as musicality, creativity and joy in movement. Our youth division dancers are also given the opportunity to perform on stage during the Spring Show.
