Royal Ballet Fehervar

The Székesfehérvár Ballet Theater was founded on August 1, 2018 based on the resolution of the General Assembly of the County-Right City of Székesfehérvár. With its foundation, the important goal was achieved, that Székesfehérvár, like other cities with county rights, had its own, independent dance theater, a contemporary ballet company operating as the city's cultural institution. For the institution's maintainer, the City of Székesfehérvár County, and the director of the institution, Attila Egerházi, the creation and operation of the troupe is a pioneering task and at the same time a noble mission. The current repertoire of the Székesfehérvár Ballet Theater consists of contemporary ballets with characteristically different styles. The diversely planned repertoire is basically divided into two large groups: one group consists of ballets with a plot - using a literary analogy, dance-novellas or dance-novels - the other group includes one-act ballets without a plot - using a literary analogy, dance-poems. He wants to pay special attention to addressing the youth, the young generation, the audience of the present and the future.
