Audition Description
Ballet Audition Platform UK was created to help the large number of young UK-based dancers that have graduated from full time vocational training and that are finding it difficult to get work, a situation that has been exacerbated by Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic. The hope is that the establishment of the platform will help enable the employment of “home-grown” dancers in UK based companies.
There are 2 categories as follows:
17-20 for advanced students and recent graduates
20+ for graduates and young professionals
The panel will include directors of companies, mostly based in the UK that can offer short to medium term freelance contracts, companies on the panel for 2025 will include:
