The Sacramento Ballet Summer Intensive is intended for serious ballet students and is designed to refine technique, artistic expression, and musicality to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a professional career. Over the course of five weeks in the capital of sunny California, dancers ages 14-22 will take part in a concentrated, comprehensive program with Sacramento Ballet Artistic Staff and Faculty. Classes consist of ballet technique, men’s technique, pointe, male/female variations, pas de deux, modern dance, contemporary dance, jazz, professional repertoire, body conditioning, choreography, hip-hop, workshops and performance.

The Senior Summer Intensive at the School of Sacramento Ballet offers a comprehensive, five-week immersion designed for dedicated dancers aiming to refine their craft and reach new levels of technical and artistic excellence. Set in California’s capital, this premier program encompasses advanced ballet technique, pointe, male and female variations, pas de deux, modern and contemporary dance, choreography, and performance workshops. Participants will train under the expert guidance of Sacramento Ballet’s Artistic Director Anthony Krutzkamp, School of Sacramento Ballet Director Jorge Laico, Second Company Director Jill Marlow Krutzkamp, Rehearsal Directors Elise Elliot and Rhodes Elliot, along with company dancers and esteemed guest faculty. In addition to intensive training, students will have the unique opportunity to be considered for Sacramento Ballet’s Second Company, fostering a pathway to professional development.
