Audition Description
The Teatro Colón regularly holds auditions to fill positions in the artistic bodies. The calls are made when there are vacancies, through juries that evaluate the applicants in a selection process.
REGISTRATION: INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Registration will take place from Tuesday, November 19, 2024 and until Sunday, December 15, inclusive. Registrations will not be accepted after the stipulated deadline.
The auditions will take place in the July 9 Rehearsal Room of the Teatro Colón, located at 618 Cerrito Street in the City of Buenos Aires, on Saturday, February 1, 2025 starting at 9 a.m.
Those interested must prove that they are of legal age. In that sense, the call will be for applicants between 18 years old and up to 26 years old inclusive; preferably with a minimum height of 1.72m for dancers and preferably with a minimum height of 1.60m for dancers.
Those interested may be native Argentine citizens, by choice or naturalized. Likewise, foreign citizens of any nationality may participate in the registration and, if selected, must have qualifying immigration and labor documentation on the date of formalization of the contract.
In turn, they must present an updated CV; (1) a video no more than two (2) months old, via a YouTube link, performing a classical variation; (1) a video no older than two (2) months, approximately three (3) minutes long via a YouTube link performing a contemporary variation, without pointe shoes and an image taken up close and full body.
The eventual contracting will be governed by the current regulations applicable to the matter. In the latter case, if the necessary documentation is not available at the time of formalizing the link, the selected person will be excluded from said call.

Registrations made by other means or that do not contain all the requested information will not be accepted.
CALL
Once the registration period has ended, specialized staff from the Teatro Colón will evaluate all applications, taking into account the artistic background and the requested videos, and will communicate promptly by email to inform the decision no later than Monday, January 6, 2025. The decision will be unappealable.
Those preselected will be notified by the email reported in the form and must appear on the day, place and time indicated by the Teatro Colón, one (1) hour in advance to participate in the corresponding classes.
The evaluation committee may request that the classes be held in full or in part, and the audition may also be interrupted and terminated when deemed appropriate.
The Teatro Colón will have accompanying pianists for the auditions.
The call will be governed by the terms detailed above, and the mere fact of participating and/or appearing in it implies, on the part of the applicants, the knowledge and acceptance of all the established directives that may be incorporated or modified from time to time.
The Theater may revoke the call at any time or instance in which the procedure is found, without generating any right to claim.
The participation of applicants may involve the processing of personal data. The owner gives his consent in accordance with the provisions of Law 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data, in accordance with which he declares that he knows and accepts that this information is part of the Teatro Colón database, granting express authorization for its treatment, processing and use. within the framework of the call
