Description

The Washington Ballet’s The Nutcracker Enrolled students at each campus, in levels Pre-Ballet 3 and up, may audition for TWB company production of The Nutcracker. Auditions for The Nutcracker are held at the beginning of each school year in September. Rehearsals are run by TWB repetiteurs and casting is determined by both the repetiteurs and the TWB artistic team. Depending on the cast size or other changes to the production, not every auditioning student may be cast. Students given a role must be available every weekend after the fall audition until the last scheduled show. Please note that show dates may change from year-to-year. Families with travel plans for any weekend, including Thanksgiving or Christmas are encouraged to choose another year for their student to audition. 2025 Student Information for The Nutcracker The Washington Ballet’s 2025 production of The Nutcracker runs Nov 29th-Dec 28th
