9 a.m. The tentative schedule is as follows: March 13, 2026 9am-4pm auditions, followed by a Meet & Greet reception. Parents are invited to come in for questions between 3-4pm. Prospective students will be offered tickets to attend the Mainstage Dance performance that evening if they wish to experience the program. All audition applicants may depart by 4pm on March 13, 2026.Audition Description
If you apply to the BA/BFA Dance degree program you must complete your UCalgary application for admission by March 1, 2026. If you selected an ‘in-person audition’ in your admission application, this year's audition will take place on March 13, 2026. It is important to note that anyone within a 300 km radius is expected to come for the live audition, so please plan ahead for this date. If you live more than 300 km away and selected a ‘video submission’ in your admission application, an Audition To-Do list item will generate in your Student Centre within 24-48 hours after you submit your application for admission. Your video submission should be uploaded in your To-Do list as a Word or PDF document that includes the appropriate video link. For more information please see the Video Audition Information Sheet (or link) below. Any audition materials received after the deadline will not be considered. Reference letters are not used in the audition process and will not be considered. Transcripts must be sent directly from the applicant's institution to the UCalgary Admissions Office.Associated Programs
