Audition Description

We are seeking a passionate and patient Pre-Ballet Teacher to introduce young children (ages 3-6) to the joy of dance through engaging and age-appropriate pre-ballet classes. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children, a strong foundation in ballet, and the ability to create a nurturing and fun learning environment that fosters creativity, coordination, and confidence. Key Responsibilities Plan and teach pre-ballet classes for children ages 3-6, focusing on basic movement, rhythm, and coordination. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and builds confidence. Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Introduce fundamental ballet concepts such as posture, balance, and basic positions in a fun and accessible way. Monitor and support the physical and emotional well-being of students during classes. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about class progress, expectations, and any concerns. Collaborate with studio staff to organize demonstrations or other events to showcase student progress. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience teaching dance, preferably ballet, to young children (ages 3-6). Strong understanding of ballet fundamentals and the ability to adapt techniques for early learners. Experience working with young children in an educational or recreational setting.
