The Drexel University Dance Program invites prospective students to audition through either video submission or live audition. Our audition process is designed not only to evaluate technical skill, but to better understand who you are as a dancer, artist, creative thinker, and future community member. We value individuality, curiosity, and collaboration, and we’re excited to learn more about your unique perspective. Whether you choose to audition in person or virtually, we look forward to welcoming you into a vibrant community where dance is both a discipline and a means of connecting. The live auditions we offer will include three of the following genres: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and West African. In addition to the technique portion of the audition, be prepared to show 90-second solo in any dance form. Use this opportunity to show us who you are and how you love to move.
