Audition Description
The Youth Dance Company of the Municipality of San Martín is a space for research, creation, and dissemination of contemporary dance that fosters the growth and professionalization of each of its members. It develops a varied repertoire that allows it to perform in theaters as well as in unconventional venues.
Its work methodology seeks to foster solidarity, respect, commitment, teamwork, and collective creation. The company's training program is free and includes classes in classical and contemporary dance, physical training, special classes, and guest choreographers. These, along with rehearsals, are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Plaza Cultural Complex in the municipality of San Martín.
Dancers of the Youth Dance Company receive a financial support scholarship.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of classical and contemporary dance.
2. Be between 17 and 26 years old (not mandatory)
3. Availability for classes and rehearsals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., as well as for performances (mandatory)

The audition to be part of the permanent cast of the Youth Company will have different stages:
In the first stage, applicants must complete the following form with their information and attend an in-person audition on Monday, November 17 or Tuesday, November 18, 2025, between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Plaza Cultural Complex (the date and time will be confirmed via email closer to the date).
Those who advance to the next stage must attend a second audition on Thursday, November 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Those selected for the final round will participate in classes and rehearsals with members of the Youth Company on Tuesday, November 25th and Thursday, November 27th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Applicants who pass this round will join the San Martín Municipal Youth Dance Company in February 2026.
